In this lesson, previously a part of my advanced course, digs into the #1 core cause of your clutter: limiting beliefs. We’ll cover how they’re formed, how to identify them, and how to change them.
This one’s all about boundaries — how a lack of them contributes to your clutter, how to recognize where you need them, and how to set them firmly and graciously.
Let’s talk unrealistic expectations — how they show up in your life, what’s driving them, and how to wrangle them. The final lesson of the three core causes puts the puzzle together for you to understand the radical new way to approach clearing clutter of all kinds.

What is so āradicalā about your approach to decluttering?
When you work with me, itās a no shame game. The approach I have found most successful over the past 18 years of working with thousands of people is one of curiosity and self compassion instead of criticism and blame. So not only will you finally make the progress that has eluded you, but youāll do so from a loving and inquisitive place.
What happens during the program?
EveryĀ WednesdayĀ atĀ 12 PM ET/9 AM PT, weāll gather on Zoom for that weekās lesson. After some brief helloās and recaps, Iāll dive into the teaching of the module, followed by a brief Q&A. You neednāt be on video to attend.
During our lessons, youāll have access to the chat feature to post your questions, share your insights, offer support to your classmates, etc.
Between lessons, the support continues in our private Facebook group.
At the end of the course, youāll continue to have access to the module replays, workbooks, and Facebook group.
What are the dates and time of the course and how much of a time commitment is it?
The course begins on Thursday, May 29thĀ and runs, weekly untilĀ Thursday,Ā July 3rd. Each live video lesson is one hour and the time to complete the corresponding exercises will vary. I suggest planning for 2-3 hours per week to devote to the course.
What happens after I sign up?
Immediately after sign up, you are added to the roster of the Radical Decluttering Fall 2023 course. Shortly after registering, you will receive a welcome email outlining the course, the syllabus, and the instructions for creating your online account where you can access the course replays as they happen.
What does the support look like?
Because the lessons are taught live, I will be with you for the entire journey. In each lesson there is time for Q&A and some on-the-spot coaching. In addition, the support continues in our private Facebook group where youāll find me regularly answering questions or offering insight.
What does "lifetime" access mean?
Lifetime access to this Radical Decluttering course means you’ll have access to the recorded version of the Fall 2023 course through your online account for as long as technology allows.
What if I canāt make the live classes?
While attending live to the lessons certainly enhances the experience, you can get just as much out of the course through the replays. Because a majority of the time spent together on Zoom is me teaching, the replays will offer you the same value. Should you have any questions after watching a module, you can post them in our Facebook group where I am regularly throughout the six weeks.
What if Iām not on Facebook?
I understand you may choose to not be on Facebook for a variety of reasons, including the clutter on there in terms of ads, negative posts, etc. And while itās not a requirement for the course, should you be interested in being a part of the community, here are a couple of recommendations:
